The Construction Sciences Research Foundation, Inc. and SPECTEXT® Master Guide Specifications Privacy Policy

The Construction Sciences Research Foundation, Inc. ("CSRF") has created this privacy statement in order to demonstrate our firm commitment to the privacy and security of information concerning our subscribers and visitors to our Websites. The following discloses the information gathering and dissemination practices for our organization and for the CSRF Website http://www.csrf.org and SPECTEXT® Website: http://www.spectext.com.

Use of IP Addresses

The CSRF and SPECTEXT Websites collect aggregate information site-wide, including anonymous site statistics. The Website logs domain names and/or IP addresses for system administration purposes. These statistics enable CSRF and SPECTEXT to know which aspects of the CSRF and SPECTEXT Websites are popular and those which are not.

Cookies

The CSRF and SPECTEXT Websites do not currently use "cookies" technology, but we reserve the right to do so in the future. A cookie is information about the Website visit, which the Web browser receives from the Website, and then stores on the visitor's hard drive. The Website then "reads" the information each time the user visits the site. This information includes the visitor's Internet Service Provider, the kind of computer and software used, the originator's Website, as well as which files were accessed and the amount of time spent on each page.

This information is used to track visits to the Website to learn what visitors like and dislike about the site, and to personalize the site so that options the user selects at the first visit can be used automatically for each successive visit. As such, the information collected does not usually identify a specific individual.

Links

This site contains links to other Websites.  CSRF and SPECTEXT are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of these sites.

CSRF and SPECTEXT maintain appropriate safeguards to ensure the security, integrity, and privacy of the information provided by its subscribers. However, we are not responsible for any breach of security.  CSRF has sole control over its subscriber list.
