SPECTEXT^® is a database of pre-written full-length, short-form and outline master guide specification Sections designed to be used for preparation of project specifications and to create a company master specification system.

SPECTEXT^® closely conforms to the specification formats and style recommended by the Construction Specification Institute -- MasterFormat™ 2004 and 1995, SectionFormat™, PageFormat™ and the CSI Project Resource Manual:  Manual of Practice.  CSI has long been recognized as the standard for specification development in the industry.

SPECTEXT^® is written in the CSI three-part format and coordinates with standard general condition documents published by the American Institute of Architects, American Society of Civil Engineers and the National Society of Professional Engineers. 

SPECTEXT^® Section content provides language for various specifying methods, including reference standards, descriptive, performance and proprietary.
